The Organic Synthesis Institute Fund (LIOS fund) was founded with the following objectives:

• Promoting research and higher education development in Latvia according to societal needs and market demands
• Supporting excellence in scientific research
• Granting scholarships, allowances, and grants to students and scientific personnel for studies, and research activities, including raising the qualifications of scientific staff."

In the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia, the LIOS fund was registered on June 29, 2023. Registration no. 40008326496
